new here was just playing with react studio with one of the provided templates
I notice the generated components use classes with lifecycle methods and not the function style (which is what I - and I think most react devs - prefer nowadays, along with hooks)
is there an option to control this?
or plans to generate code in the newer style?
Currently the generated code uses traditional lifecycle methods and classes but React Hooks are definitely something we dig into in the next couple of months.
This product just gets better and better.
Is there any update or estimate on when Hooks will be supported?
Thanks for the kudos. We haven’t yet started much with hooks. We were supposed to have a customisation project which includes hooks but it hasn’t yet started (larger new features requires sponsor). Hooks are still quite new thing and most React apps are still using classes so it hasn’t been on our main priority.
Thanks for the reply.
Do you have a roadmap for React Studio?
I’m curious to see where you are heading with the product.
Also, is there somewhere to post feature requests.
