I’d like to be able to use a data slot when setting the base URL for the back-end server, as data slots are able to be used otherwise when setting custom headers, remaining URL path and query strings for data sheets.
It turns out that for the Source URL (or as it is defined in the generated code, baseUrl) is always interpreted as text, the code generator does not look for this eventually being a data slot. I’ve tried both ways to use a data slot, $slot , and this.dataSlots .
There is however a a work-around , to enter “+ dataslot +” in the Source URL setting in order to trick the code generator to insert a concatenate of empty strings and the data slot .
The code generated then will have baseUrl to be set to the data slot value.
