How to get plugin dimensions from canvas?

Hi,

I got a Google place search with map and marker plugin working. It returns coordinates and address data.

I could upload it if someone is interested …

It is without preview at the moment but it would be nice if I could get some help to do this as well. I couldn’t find an example how to get the width and height from the canvas (defined by dropping and dragging the plugin in RS) transferred into the component template.

Could someone please help or point me into the right direction with an example?

I dont think you can get the height and width in the Plugin API. It depends on the context and screen sizes but what if you simply set the width and height to 100% then the element will ”fill” with area and how the alignments set in the Studio.

Hi Antti,

thanks for your reply - that worked!
The plugin is working now nicely and you could upload it to the Plugin Store if you like.

Hi,

Great to hear this! Please send the plugin file to hello@neonto.com.

Hi Antti,

I tried to send the file several time as email attachment but it gets blocked (even packed as a zip). Do you have cloud storage somewhere to upload it?

Usually renaming the file extension to something else than .zip does the trick but you can send us a dropbox or wetransfer link as well.
